Student Financial Services
Financial Aid and payment methods can be difficult to understand. Belmont Central is here to help! We are prepared to assist you with nearly all financial aid, billing, and payment questions you may have. Dining & Bruin Bucks
For a comprehensive overview of meal plans available for purchase please visit the Dining Services Website.
Follow the steps outlined below to make changes to your meal plan before the drop/add date each semester.
- Click here to login to your MyBelmont account.
- Select the green "Housing" icon (at the top of the MyBelmont homepage).
- Select "Meal Plans" (On the left).
- Select “Dining Plans” (On the left).
- Select “Semester” and your desired meal plan.
- Click "Add" to finalize the transaction.
*Please note: After the drop/add period please contact reslife@belmont.edu to request changes to your meal plan.
Dining Dollars are funds that are included with a meal plan and can be utilized at on-campus retail locations. Dining Dollars are eligible for rollover from the Fall semester to the Spring semester. To retain these funds, a meal plan for the Spring semester is required. Unused Dining Dollars expire at the end of the Spring semester and are not eligible for rollover.
Bruin Bucks are additional funds that can be added to your student account to enhance your meal plan. Bruin Bucks are dollar-for-dollar funds that can be utilized at any on-campus retail locations, the campus pharmacy, campus vending machines, and at participating off-campus retail locations. Bruin Bucks can be added to your account at any time and in any increment. Bruin Bucks roll over to the next semester and never expire.

Follow the steps detailed below to add Bruin Bucks to your account.
- Click here to login to your MyBelmont account.
- Select the green "Housing" icon (at the top of the MyBelmont homepage).
- Select "Meal Plans" (On the left).
- Select “Dining Plans” (On the left).
- Click “Purchase Bruin Bucks” and then “Add Points."
- Select “Bruin Bucks” and enter the number of Bruin Bucks you would like to add.
- Click "Add" to finalize the transaction.
This link utilizes Single Sign-On (SSO), prompting students to log in through MyBelmont. Once logged in, they will be automatically redirected to their eAccounts dashboard.
Students can also check their balance using the Transact eAccounts app. Download the Transact eAccounts app from your app store today.
With Bruin Bucks, you have the security of not having to carry cash or credit cards. Lost cards can be reported at Dining Services and the remaining balance can be transferred onto a new ID card. Lost or stolen ID cards can also be replaced. Should this happen to you, please contact Campus Security at 615-460-6617.
Additional Services and Perks
Belmont Central offers free Music City Star and RTA Relax and Ride passes to Belmont students and staff. Additionally, any student or employee with a Belmont-issued ID card is eligible to ride to and from the campus with Nashville MTA. Please reference attached links for schedule information.
Discounted movie tickets are available for Regal.
- Regal Cinema - $9.00 per pass
Discount movie passes are vouchers for any movie at the selected theater, not specific to a certain movie or time.
Discount movie passes are not valid for special events or private screening. You may use the movie tickets to reserve a seat for a movie online. This must be done through the Regal Cinemas direct website.
Other surcharges may apply at select theatres. There are also restrictions on select new releases.
Please visit www.fandango.com for restrictions on new releases. You will see "No Passes" next to the movies that will not allow discount pass redemption.
Belmont Central accepts payment for movie tickets in the form of cash, check, or credit card.
Paychecks for students are now paid biweekly and can either be picked up at Belmont Central or directly deposited into the student’s designated checking or savings account. All subsequent student payrolls will consist of 14 day pay periods.
The biweekly calendar can be found on the Finance & Accounting website in MyBelmont under Forms and Policies.
Direct Deposit enrollment is free and strongly encouraged. Direct deposit forms are located at Belmont Central and can be turned in at our office.
If paychecks held at Belmont Central are not picked up by the last Friday of each month, they will be mailed to your permanent address.
Belmont Central is authorized to cash checks up to $20 per day per student, faculty, and staff. A current Belmont University ID and good standing of the student account are required for a student to cash a check. A student who presents a check to Belmont University that is not subsequently honored by the bank on which the check is drawn will be charged $25. If a student has three returned checks or ACH payments during their time at Belmont, privileges for check cashing will be revoked.
Belmont Central offers free notary services for Belmont business related documents only. We are not able to notarize personal documents. Please provide a valid ID and documents may not be signed prior to notarization.
