Financial Ability

Before Belmont issues your immigration documents, you must submit financial documents that show your ability to cover the costs of attending Belmont University. Both our international and domestic students are charged the same tuition.

International Student Aid

Here at Belmont University, we embrace our international students and the unique perspective they contribute to our community. International applicants for first-year admission may be considered for general academic merit scholarships. Belmont University does not offer any need-based financial aid to international students. Belmont does not review the CS Profile.

While only U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible to apply for U.S. federal financial aid, many private organizations and corporations have financial assistance and sponsorship programs for international students wishing to study abroad. The Institute of International Education provides information about financial aid options for international students. Students on F-1 and J-1 visas are not eligible for state or federal financial aid.

Important Notes for International Students:

  • International students must pay the entire tuition amount at the beginning of the semester.
  • International students will be enrolled in a mandatory insurance plan with ISO coverage every fall and spring semester. Please reach out to International Students & Scholars for more information.

Undergraduate Student Scholarships

In order to enhance the diversity of our campus, limited international student scholarships are awarded each spring for the following academic year.
