Belmont Academy follows a semester model with fall, spring and summer sessions. Please review key dates, holidays and recital schedules.
Recitals & Performances
Recitals take place in professional performance spaces on Belmont’s campus. Participation is encouraged for all students (including adults and beginners) but not required.
Recitals are held in Harton Recital Hall in the Massey Performing Arts Center
Fall 2026
- Aug. 24 — Fall Semester Begins
- Sept. 7 — Labor Day (No Lessons)
- Oct. 12-13 — Fall Break (No Lessons)
- Nov. 25-27 — Thanksgiving Break (No Lessons)
- Dec. 12 — Winter Recitals
Spring 2027
- Jan. 13 — Spring Semester Begins
- Jan. 18 — Martin Luther King Jr. Day (No Lessons)
- Mar. 6-14 — Spring Break (No Lessons)
- Mar. 25-28 — Easter Break (No Lessons)
- Apr. 24 — Merit Scholarship Auditions
- May 1 — Spring Recitals
Summer 2027
- June 7 — Summer Session Begins (8 weeks, no recital)
