Student Formation & Dean of Students

Find Your Place. Grow Your Purpose.

At Belmont, we believe college is about more than just classes and credits. It’s about becoming the person you’re called to be. That’s where Student Formation comes in.

Some schools call it Student Life, others call it Student Affairs. At Belmont, we call it Student Formation because everything we do is about helping you grow into who you’re meant to be.

So, what is Student Formation?

It's all the ways we support your growth outside the classroom. From creating spaces to build community, to helping you explore your purpose, to walking with you through life's ups and downs, Student Formation is here for you. It's about shaping your Belmont experience so you grow personally, spiritually and socially.

Our mission is to build a campus community where you feel connected, cared for and empowered. We're all about creating opportunities for you to engage, discover more about yourself and make a difference in your own life and in the lives of others.

Guided by our Christ-centered values, we believe in the power of belonging, compassion, integrity and personal growth. No matter your background or beliefs, this is a place where your story matters and your journey is supported.

Whether you're looking to get involved, need someone to talk to or just want to explore what's next, we're here for you.

Welcome to your Belmont community. Let's grow together.
