Individuals who have previously earned a bachelor’s degree in a different field of study are eligible to apply for admission to Belmont’s Accelerated Second Degree Track which leads to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The accelerated track may be completed in as little as 16 months of full-time study. Second degree students may also pursue the Traditional Nursing Track to complete their nursing degree in 21 months (two academic years).

Applicants are accepted to begin our second degree nursing programs during the Fall semester only, and our application is available on NursingCAS.
