Transformation: Acting is Believing

June 1-5, 2026 (grades 6-8) | June 8-12, 2026 (grades 9-12)

Transformation! is a week-long acting camp at Belmont University taught by university instructors and local professionals. During the week, students will explore vocal and physical communication, text analysis, stage combat, and improv, all in service of creating a role or roles in a showcase of their work on the final day. Actors of all experience levels will be accepted into the camps, and each actor will be pushed to grow from their current talent set. All actors will be challenged with new material and skills throughout the course of the week.

Daily Schedule:

9 am - 4 pm	Two master classes in various aspects of theatre Lunch Rehearsal, utilizing master class work, toward a final performance to share on Friday afternoon
Activities	Group lessons and masterclasses Ensemble and classroom activities in physical and vocal communication, text analysis, and character development Master classes in stage combat and improv

2026 Costs:

Transformation is a day-camp only. NO dorm accommodations are available.

Commuter Camper: $450

Includes Daily Lunches

Eligibility:

Transformation Week 1 (June 1-5) is open to students entering grades 6-8 in fall of 2026. Transformation Week 2 (June 8-12) is open to students entering grades 9-12 in fall 2026.
