Most college-level courses with a grade of “C-” or better are eligible for transfer. Each course is individually evaluated to determine its applicability to the Belmont BELL core curriculum, and course equivalency may change over time. Additionally, other courses may transfer or count toward fulfilling degree requirements. If you have completed AP, IB, or CLEP tests, it is necessary to submit official score reports in order to earn credit for those exams.

Transferology

Transfer Policy

Living on campus at Belmont offers convenience and a vibrant community. You'll be close to classes, the fitness center, dining options, and just two miles from downtown Nashville, where you can enjoy live music and diverse cuisine. Most importantly, on-campus living fosters a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages personal growth and a sense of belonging.

Due to limited availability, transfer students are not guaranteed their first-choice housing style, and we may not be able to accommodate roommate requests. However, if housing is available, the application submission date will determine the order of placement within each housing group. Upperclassman transfer students will be assigned to available upperclassman housing in early June. Any remaining transfer students without housing will be placed on a waitlist and offered housing as it becomes available throughout the summer.
