Registration is currently down while we upgrade parking management systems. An announcement will be made on My Belmont when it is available.

Registration of Motor Vehicles

All vehicles including automobiles, motorcycles, mopeds, scooters and bicycles operating on campus must be registered and have a proper permit. Vehicle registration will be valid from June 2022 through August 15, 2023. All vehicles must renew their registration every academic school year.

Registration is done through My.Belmont by logging in to your account and clicking on the "Bicycle and Vehicle Registration" link under the Campus Security and Safety tab on the left. Before registering online, make sure you have the following information:

  • Vehicle Make
  • Vehicle Model
  • Vehicle Year
  • Vehicle Color
  • License Plate Number
  • Best Contact Phone Number with Area Code
  • Your local address (where you live while attending school, not your permanent residence)
If you have a state-issued disability tag or placard and intend to utilize disability parking spaces on campus, you will be required to provide a copy of your state issued disability parking permit and documentation evidencing that the permit is issued in your name when picking up your decal.

Once you have registered your vehicle online, there is no need to pick up a permit as they are virtual, with the exception of bicycles.

Persons desiring to operate a vehicle on campus on a temporary basis are required to register a temporary vehicle under the Parking Tab on My.Belmont.

Students whose parent or spouse is employed by the university may not use a faculty/staff parking permit when the student normally drives to class.

Residential permits parked in surface lots after 8:00 am (7:00 a.m. for Fidelity Visitor Parking Lot) are subject to being ticketed or towed at the owner's expense.

If a student moves from one residence to another, the student is required to update their virtual permit in their My.Belmont.

A parking permit does not guarantee a place to park; it is merely permission to park on campus.
