Option 1: Transfer Welcome Week

Join the full Welcome Week experience, immersing yourself in Belmont traditions, connecting with peers in Towering Traditions (TT) groups, and participating in a variety of events designed to prepare you for campus life. This comprehensive experience includes moving in alongside other new students and engaging activities that foster community and belonging. 

Dates: August 16 - 19, 2025

  Designed for:

• Students looking to meet and connect with other transfer students and current student leaders to jump-start their community and connections at Belmont. Transfer students will be put into transfer TT groups led by 2-3 upperclassmen.
• Students living on campus or students commuting to campus who are desiring to get connected to campus life.
• Students looking to explore Nashville. We will offer a Nashville excursion free for transfer students selecting to attend the Transfer Welcome Week session.
• Students looking to jump-start their Well Core requirements (a graduate requirement). Students can receive up to 5 Well Core credits for attending the Transfer Welcome Week experience. 
• Students desiring the full Welcome Week experience including social events, impactful main sessions, nighttime activities, and breakout opportunities for connections. 

Perks of Attending the Transfer Welcome Week Experience:

• Students can receive up to 5 Well Core credits for attending Transfer Welcome Week experience. Well Core is a graduation requirement for all Belmont students. 
• Transfers will be put into transfer TT groups led by 2-3 upperclassmen. This jump-starts one's community and connections at Belmont.
• Free Nashville excursion designed just for transfers.
• Free Belmont swag.

Option 2: Transfer Welcome Day

Choose a condensed, one-day experience that provides essential information and opportunities to connect with fellow new students. This option is ideal for those seeking a brief yet informative introduction to Belmont's campus and community.

Date: Monday, August 18, 2025 | 9:00am - 4:30pm

 Designed for:

• Students who can only attend one day of Welcome Week due to work or outside commitments;
• Commuter students who are unable to drive back and forth to campus over the four-day Welcome Week experience;
• Non-Traditional Students who need the logistical details regarding starting classes at Belmont;
• Students only wanting the true essentials of starting at Belmont.
