Tennessee’s only EFMD business school member; one of 23 in the United States
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 20, 2026) – Belmont University’s Jack C. Massey College of Business has joined EFMD Global as full member, becoming the only business school in Tennessee and one of only 23 in the United States to hold this distinction. The membership positions the College for its next strategic step: the pursuit of EQUIS accreditation, the international counterpart to its existing AACSB accreditation and one of the most selective recognitions in management education. By joining the EFMD community, the Massey College of Business gains access to a vast network of over 1,000 institutions across more than 90 countries, connecting with premier business schools, corporate organizations, and educational networks. The affiliation will provide collaborative opportunities for faculty research, faculty and student exchanges, and strategic partnerships on a global scale.
"This membership reflects the trajectory of the College and the seriousness of our ambitions. We are building a business school that is mission-driven, regionally anchored in Nashville, and unambiguously global in outlook. EFMD's recognition signals we are on the right path, and EQUIS is where that path ultimately leads," said Randy V. Bradley, dean, Jack C. Massey College of Business.
Through its EFMD membership, Massey College of Business gains access to EFMD's full suite of quality improvement frameworks, including EQUIS and the Business School Impact System (BSIS), which support continuous measurement and improvement of impact on society and the economy. As the business landscape rapidly evolves, Massey College of Business remains dedicated to equipping its students with the skills, ethical frameworks, and global perspectives necessary to thrive in complex professional environments. EFMD membership serves as a catalyst in expanding the school’s international footprint and enhancing the quality of its academic programs.
