Welcome from the Dean

Whether you are a high school student dreaming of your first startup, a parent looking for a high-return investment in your child’s future, or a young professional ready to pivot into leadership, I am thrilled you’re here.

At Massey, we don’t just teach business—we live it. Located in the heart of Nashville’s thriving economy, our college serves as a bridge between classroom theory and real-world impact. We pride ourselves on a curriculum that is as agile as the market itself, delivered by faculty who are both world-class scholars and seasoned industry experts.

Why Choose Massey?

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: We foster a "think-outside-the-box" culture that encourages students to innovate from day one.

  • Nashville’s Network: Our deep roots in the city provide unparalleled access to internships and careers in healthcare, music, tech, and finance.

  • Purpose-Driven Leadership: We believe business should be a force for good. We equip our graduates to lead with both competence and character.

We invite you to explore our programs, meet our community, and discover how a Massey education can help you define your own version of success and prepare you for what's next in business.

Welcome to the family. Let’s get to work.

Accreditation

Organized in 1916, The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is the premier agency for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs in business administration and accounting. AACSB International accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.

Fewer than 5% of the world’s business schools are able to adhere to standards that result in AACSB accreditation of their business education programs. A much smaller group, fewer than 2% of business schools (185) worldwide, have earned the separate, specialized accreditation for their accounting program.

Belmont University’s Jack C. Massey College of Business is the only private college or university in Tennessee that is accredited by AACSB International for our BBA and MBA programs, and our Accounting major and Master of Accountancy degree.
