Listen. Appreciate. Engage. Invest.
Each year, the Office of Service-Learning hosts campus-wide events that connect Belmont students, faculty, staff, and community partners in meaningful service and engagement. Whether you're serving alongside neighbors, supporting local nonprofits, or building new relationships, these events bring our values to life.

Community Connections Fair
At the start of each fall semester, local nonprofits and community organizations are invited to campus to connect with Belmont students, faculty, and staff. It's a great chance to learn about service opportunities, build partnerships, and discover how to get involved throughout the year.

MLK Joint Day of Service
Each January, Belmont students join peers from eight Nashville-area colleges and universities to honor the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., through collective service. Volunteers come together across campuses and communities to reflect, build relationships, and serve side by side with organizations throughout the city.

Family Literacy Day
This annual spring event celebrates the joy of reading with pre-K through 6th grade children and their families. Hosted by Belmont students, faculty, staff, and community partners, the day features reading circles, literacy games, crafts, snacks, and book giveaways. The best part? Every child leaves with a new book thanks to our partnership with Book'em.
