Fashion Design student walks in with their designs at annual fashion show

Fashion Show

O'More College of Architecture & Design

A Belmont Tradition in Design and Innovation

Each spring, the O’More College of Architecture & Design’s annual Fashion Show transforms the Curb Event Center into a runway of creativity, craftsmanship and purpose. This year’s event on Friday, April 24 at 7:30pm will showcase original collections from Belmont’s fashion design juniors and seniors— the culmination of years of study, imagination and technical mastery.

From concept sketches to final garments, students design, produce and present their work in a professional setting, gaining real-world experience in every facet of the fashion industry. Merchandising students (Fashionista.com) lead production efforts, while designers debut pieces that push boundaries in form, function and storytelling.

Over the years, the O’More Fashion Show has become known not just for its artistry, but also for its heart. Students frequently collaborate with local nonprofits, using design to make a positive impact on the community.

Last year the Fashion Department celebrated 25 years of the in-person event with honoring our purpose-driven mission through a meaningful partnership with Saddle Up!, a Franklin-based organization that provides therapeutic equestrian experiences for children and youth with disabilities.

Watch the Story

Meet one of the Saddle Up! riders who took the stage as a model, wearing a custom, adaptive design created just for her by O’More students.

As O’More continues this beloved Belmont tradition, the Fashion Show remains a celebration of beauty, innovation and compassion — preparing the next generation of designers and merchandisers to create with purpose and lead with vision.

Please join us for the runway reveal of the Move Inclusive junior design studio partnership sponsored by long-time supporter Ginny Caldwell who is also an Interior Design alumnus The nonprofit is an inclusive dance studio that empowers individuals of all ability levels to learn life skills through movement and music to transform their students’ lives while providing a nurturing, inviting community for all.

Join us on Friday, April 24 for an incredible evening of beauty, artistry, craftsmanship and care for others.

Models walk down a brightly lit runway at a fashion show, with the student designer waving to the audience. The venue is dimly lit except for the stage lights overhead, which highlight the models and their outfits. Two large screens on either side of the runway display a live feed of the show. The audience, seated along both sides of the runway, watches and applauds.
