The Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine new medical school building is a 195,000 square-foot building and features 50,000 square feet of interdisciplinary simulation center. The interdisciplinary simulation center will provide outstanding undergraduate medical education, through simulation learning to develop highly competent and compassionate physicians. Staffed by experts in simulation education and health professions faculty in medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, and social work, the simulation center will feature the most advanced technology including virtual reality simulation, high-fidelity manikins, clinical skills training, standardized patient and highly specialized scenarios.
