APPLICATION DEADLINES

NOTICE

The Master of Sport Administration program only accepts students in the fall semester. Applicants interested in applying for graduate assistantships should apply by the March 1 priority deadline.

 

Admissions Requirements:

  • Application Form:  Apply Online by the application deadline.
  • Application Fee: You must submit a $50 non-refundable application fee with your application materials. If you are applying online, you will pay this fee online via credit/debit card or e-check prior to submitting your application.
  • Official Transcripts:  Applicants must have an undergraduate degree with a GPA of 3.0. Official transcripts from any previous colleges, should be sent to: Belmont University Office of Admissions, 1900 Belmont Blvd, Nashville TN 37212-3757. Official electronic transcripts sent through a secure third party (i.e. Student Clearinghouse, or Parchment) may be sent to admissions@belmont.edu.  
  • Official TOEFL scores as applicable for an international student and other pertinent paperwork must be submitted.
  • Recommendation form: Have two people (non-relatives who have knowledge of your job or university experiences) complete the online Recommendation Form. When you have submitted your application, you will see an additional screen that enables you to request recommendations. When you submit your requests, online forms will be made available to your references through your online application. All references will be notified via email of the Recommendation form.  
  • Resume: Upload a current resume through the online application. The ability to upload will be available to you after you have submitted your application.
  • Letter: On the online application, complete the professional aspiration stating your purpose for applying to the program. 
  • Only your Transcripts should be sent directly to the Belmont University Office of Graduate Admissions. These must come directly from your colleges and/or universities.  
  • Interview: Applicants being considered for admission will be issued an invitation for an interview, and will be required to schedule a date and time with the selection committee and faculty before final approval.
  • Health Form: When you have been accepted to the MSA program and you have sent your enrollment fee, you must submit the on-line health form to complete your admissions process.
