In the Ministry of Truth, Winston Smith labors to erase history, language, and fact, all in the service of the Totalitarian Big Brother, who controls everything. With his every move being watched and his every word monitored, Winston slowly begins to rebel—through Thoughtcrime. But as he seeks freedom, who can he trust? Based on George Orwell's classic dystopian novel, this play demands that audience members face the horror of a world with no choice and no autonomy.
