Enjoy a casual afternoon of pickleball and sand volleyball with fellow Belmont families and students. Whether you're playing or cheering from the sidelines, all skill levels are welcome! Pickleball paddles and balls are available and free for checking at Picklebeach.

PARENT SESSION: Help Your Student Achieve their Career Plans  

This session will be focused on how parents can help their children navigate their career plans. Parents will receive an overview of career development at Belmont, meet some members of the Career Development Team and learn how they can support their college student.     

PARENT SESSION: Helping your Student Succeed & Flourish at Belmont   

Student Success research and the Belmont experience show that when our students/families know of available resources and how to access those resources, success comes at a much higher rate.  Belmont’s Division of Student Success & Flourishing is comprised of multiple success/support offices with a variety of resources for the students.  Those resources are designed to advance student experiences in and out of the classroom. Please join David Sneed, Director of GPS and member of the Student Success and Flourishing Team, as you discover ways we can join to support your student and hear more about opportunities designed to help students flourish at Belmont University.   

PARENT SESSION: Honors Program: Opporutnities, Expectations, & the Belmont Experience

What does it mean to be an Honors student at Belmont? Join the Honors Program team to learn more about the opportunities, experiences and expectations that come with being part of the Honors community. Parents will gain an overview of the Honors Program, hear about academic and co-curricular opportunities, and learn how they can encourage and support their student throughout their Honors experience at Belmont.

PARENT SESSION: Making the Most of Your Student’s Study Abroad Experience  

Parents play such an important part in helping a student determine when, where and how to study abroad. Come meet with the Office of Study Abroad to learn more about Belmont’s study abroad offerings, the study abroad application process and how to support your child throughout their study abroad experience.

A weekend at Belmont is just not complete without live music! Come enjoy some of Belmont’s finest at Live on the Lawn — an event featuring student performers. This is the perfect opportunity to experience a true Belmont experience with your family and friends. Cheer on the Bruins Men’s Soccer Team as they take on the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota) in an exciting evening of NCAA Division I soccer. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m., and admission and parking are free for all fans.

Registered guests of Parents Weekend are welcome for self-guided tours of Belmont Mansion at a discounted rate. Tickets are $10. Children under 12 and Belmont Students (with ID) are free. Open at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday; Sunday open at 11 a.m. Last guests are admitted at 3:30 pm.

Registered guests of Parent’s Weekend are welcome for a free walk through of the Belmont Mansion during 2:00–4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25. Capacity is limited to 200 people at a time.

Walking Tour of Belmont’s Historic Grounds and Gardens
Friday | Tours Start at Rose Garden by Belmont Mansion at 11:00 am

Approximately 1 hour in length, weather permitting. Please wear shoes suitable for walking.

Join Myers Brown, Executive Director of Belmont Mansion, for an exploration of the historic grounds of Belmont University. This walking tour will present the evolution of our historic campus beginning with its establishment as the formal gardens surrounding Belmont Mansion, to their destruction during the Civil War, followed by the recovery and restoration in the 1870-80s, and eventually becoming the home of Belmont College for Young Women, Ward-Belmont, and now Belmont University. Sites that will be visited: the gazebos, the 1857 fountain, the water/bell tower, the alumni house, the 1857 aviary, and Freedom Plaza.

Both stores are part of the Learning Lab, sponsored by the Thomas F. Cone Sr. Center for Entrepreneurship, where Belmont students get hands-on experience running a real business across five teams: Finance, Merchandise and Inventory, Marketing, Events, and Management.

HOUSE OF, opened in April 2016, is a curated women's fashion boutique bringing the Nashville community a one-stop shop for all things style. Twelve students learn brand management, marketing, sales, and supply chain management by working closely with local designers and student & alumni entrepreneurs, building a collaborative fashion ecosystem in the heart of Nashville.

BRUIN BODEGA, opened in October 2025, is a vibrant campus market spotlighting alumni-founded food brands and giving Belmont student entrepreneurs a launchpad to debut their own CPG products. In partnership with Conexion Americas' Mesa Komal kitchen, the Bodega features collaborations with local chefs, bringing fresh, culturally diverse flavors to campus. It's a go-to stop for fun, fresh, community-rooted food, right in the heart of Belmont and open to all Nashville neighbors.
