From athletic events to concerts, student life presentations and exploring the great city of Nashville, Parent & Family Weekend provides the perfect weekend for family members to experience life at Belmont.

This year, Parent & Family Weekend is partnering with the Creative Arts Collective to bring even more music, art and creativity to the weekend! Families can enjoy a special concert on Friday evening followed by the Art & Wonder Festival on Saturday, featuring opportunities to experience and celebrate the arts together.

This session will be focused on how parents can help their children navigate their career plans. Parents will receive an overview of career development at Belmont, meet some members of the Career Development Team and learn how they can support their college student.

Student Success research and the Belmont experience show that when our students/families know of available resources and how to access those resources, success comes at a much higher rate. Belmont’s Division of Student Success & Flourishing is comprised of multiple success/support offices with a variety of resources for the students. Those resources are designed to advance student experiences in and out of the classroom. Parents play such an important part in helping a student determine when, where and how to study abroad. Walking Tour of Belmont’s Historic Grounds and Gardens
Friday | Tours Start at Rose Garden by Belmont Mansion at 11:00 am
Approximately 1 hour in length, weather permitting. Please wear shoes suitable for walking.
Join Myers Brown, Executive Director of Belmont Mansion, for an exploration of the historic grounds of Belmont University. This walking tour will present the evolution of our historic campus beginning with its establishment as the formal gardens surrounding Belmont Mansion, to their destruction during the Civil War, followed by the recovery and restoration in the 1870-80s, and eventually becoming the home of Belmont College for Young Women, Ward-Belmont, and now Belmont University. Sites that will be visited: the gazebos, the 1857 fountain, the water/bell tower, the alumni house, the 1857 aviary, and Freedom Plaza.

Both stores are part of the Learning Lab, sponsored by the Thomas F. Cone Sr. Center for Entrepreneurship, where Belmont students get hands-on experience running a real business across five teams: Finance, Merchandise and Inventory, Marketing, Events, and Management.
HOUSE OF, opened in April 2016, is a curated women's fashion boutique bringing the Nashville community a one-stop shop for all things style. Twelve students learn brand management, marketing, sales, and supply chain management by working closely with local designers and student & alumni entrepreneurs, building a collaborative fashion ecosystem in the heart of Nashville.
BRUIN BODEGA, opened in October 2025, is a vibrant campus market spotlighting alumni-founded food brands and giving Belmont student entrepreneurs a launchpad to debut their own CPG products. In partnership with Conexion Americas' Mesa Komal kitchen, the Bodega features collaborations with local chefs, bringing fresh, culturally diverse flavors to campus. It's a go-to stop for fun, fresh, community-rooted food, right in the heart of Belmont and open to all Nashville neighbors.
