Fall 2021 Campus Plan

Defending our Den
Fall 2021 COVID-19 Campus Plan

Following a year-long hybrid model for 2020-21, Belmont is planning on a more normal semester for the Fall 2021 term, focused on the following:
  • Resumption of in-person classes at full capacity
  • Indoor spaces restored to 100 percent capacity
  • Robust campus life experience with in-person meetings, events, gatherings and activities
  • Opening of fitness and exercise facilities and more normalized food service operations
  • A traditional fall schedule to include regular semester length and observance of fall break and holidays
  • In-person academic awards and commencement ceremonies.

Our Current Health Protocols page will be updated with the most up-to-date protocols as more information becomes available.

Campus leaders will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and shift or evolve plans as needed based on trends and insights from local, state and federal public health officials. In the event that the threat to our campus increases or public health guidance or mandates dictate, Belmont’s health and safety protocols may change at any time. In such a case, all members of the campus community will be expected to adhere to new or modified guidelines. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work together to maintain the health and safety of our campus community.
