‘Dolly: An Original Musical’ Receives Two-Week Extension at Fisher Center

Katie Rose Clark, Carrie St. Louis, Quinn Titcomb to portray Parton in production 

Dolly: An Original Musical,” the highly anticipated musical production focused on her life debuting at Belmont’s Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, announced a two-week show extension due to overwhelming ticket demand.

The limited engagement was originally slated to close on Sunday, August 17, but will now run through Sunday, August 31. The show begins previews on July 18 with an August 8 opening night.

Additionally, Dolly Parton and show producers revealed the three actors who will portray the country music icon at different stages of her life in “Dolly: An Original Musical.”

Katie Rose Clark, Carrie St. Louis and Quinn Titcomb were cast to play Parton throughout the production.

Meet the Cast 

Katie Rose Clark, who will reunite with director Bartlett Sher after working together on “The Light in the Piazza,” previously starred in Broadway productions of “Merrily We Roll Along,” “Miss Saigon,” “Allegiance,” and “Wicked.”

Carrie St. Louis was recently featured as ‘Rose” in the musical comedy “Titanique” and has appeared on Broadway in “Kinky Boots,” “Wicked,” and “Rock of Ages.”

Quinn Titcomb has appeared in many national and regional touring productions of “Waitress,” “Les Misérables,” “The Sound of Music,” “Frozen,” and “Fun Home.”

About ‘Dolly: An Original Musical’ 

“Dolly: An Original Musical” invites audiences into Parton’s journey from humble beginnings in the Smoky Mountains to her rise as a global superstar. The show will feature many of Parton’s biggest hits including “I Will Always Love You,” “Jolene,” "9 to 5,” and “Coat of Many Colors” in addition to new songs written specifically for the musical.

Following its run in Nashville, the show will move to Broadway in 2026.
