Biography

Wil Merrell is an internationally touring and recording artist, speaker, creative career strategist, and business development coach whose career spans nearly four decades in the music and entertainment industry. A sought-after session and touring vocalist, Wil has performed and recorded with celebrated artists including OneRepublic, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Judds, Carrie Underwood, Joss Stone, NEEDTOBREATHE, and Gloria Gaynor, with whom he currently tours internationally as a featured vocalist. His career encompasses recording, touring, live performance, vocal production and arranging, creative direction, and performance coaching.

Beyond the stage and studio, Wil is passionate about helping artists develop both their craft and the careers that support it. As a creative career strategist and Artistpreneur/business development coach, he works with artists and creatives to strengthen their professional identity, clarify their vision, create sustainable career strategies, and understand the business behind their artistry.

Through B.A. Creative Consulting and his Artistpreneur Blueprint, Wil equips creatives with practical tools that bridge artistry, entrepreneurship, professional development, and purpose, helping them turn their gifts into viable and sustainable careers.
As an adjunct instructor of Studio Singers at Belmont University, Wil brings his real-world experience into the classroom, preparing emerging vocalists for the expectations of professional recording sessions, touring, live performance, creative collaboration, and the business of building a lasting career in music.
