The Office of Faith-Based Engagement & Church Relations is led by Dr. Todd Lake. Prior to coming to Belmont, he was Dean of Chapel and later Dean for University Life at Baylor. He served as a chaplain at Harvard and for nine years, also pastored an interracial Baptist church in Cambridge, Massachusetts which engaged in a range of ministries to those in need. He has served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay and a legislative aide for a state senator in California, focusing on migrant farmworker legislation.  Todd received his bachelor's degree in German Studies magna cum laude from Harvard and studied at Princeton Seminary before earning his M.Div. from Southern Seminary and a Ph.D. in systematic theology from Boston College.
