Biography

Sydnee's life has long been marked by a love of service; at just 13, she founded Jumbled Dreams, a nonprofit connecting volunteers to interest-aligned service projects in the community. Since then, Sydnee has come to appreciate the meaningful difference everyday service can make through kindness and connection.

Sydnee returns to Belmont after graduating with a degree in Biology and a minor in Public Health. "As a student at Belmont, I was able to grow in my love of learning and ignite my passion for community-based service," said Floyd. "I look forward to helping other students do the same in my new role!"

As the Assistant Director of CELS, Sydnee will work closely with Director Tim Stewart to create opportunities for Belmont students, faculty, and staff to engage in service-learning and nurture connections with more than 200 community partners across Nashville.
