Biography

Dr. Sarah Tarr is an Assistant Professor of Nursing. She has experience as a certified adult oncology nurse and an academic educator. Although she has served in various roles at Belmont, Dr. Tarr currently teaches in the Foundations of Care Management and Foundations of Experiential Learning courses. She seeks to utilize innovative teaching strategies in the classroom and is committed to partnering with students to meet their individual learning needs and goals.

Dr. Tarr is involved in Belmont’s collaboration with the CoffeeMed ministry in Antigua, Guatemala. In addition to her role as a professor, she also partners with Belmont University Athletics to increase the awareness of skin cancer prevention in student athletes.
