Biography
Nate Litwin, J.D., LL.M., is an Assistant Professor of Legal Studies in Belmont's College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences. Nate has been a licensed and practicing attorney since 2002, admitted to practice in Tennessee, Federal district court, and the United States Tax Court.
Nate received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University, his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law, and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law. In addition to teaching courses at Belmont for the Legal Studies program, Nate has taught university courses in the areas of Business Law, Business Ethics, and Sports Law and Administration. In 2012, Nate was certified by the NFLPA as a contract advisor, and he has worked with all 32 NFL front offices, and negotiated player contracts with numerous NFL teams while representing football players, coaches and
front office personnel.
