Michele Miller

Biography

Michele Miller joined Belmont University in March 2026 as Associate Vice President of Advancement Services after serving as Chief Advancement Officer at the Purdue for Life Foundation and Girl Scouts of Central Indiana. With more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, she has expertise building data-informed cultures, strengthening fundraising outcomes, and developing high-performing teams across higher education, human services, and arts organizations. Michele has led eight major campaigns across six organizations, ranging from $50 million to $4 billion, guiding efforts from planning and feasibility through execution and stewardship. She brings expertise in prospect development, analytics, data management, gift administration, and donor engagement strategies.

In addition to her operational and fundraising leadership, she has led strategic planning initiatives and major system implementations while building strong partnerships with executive leaders and boards. Michele is an active leader in the advancement profession, contributing through board service, mentoring, and national speaking engagements.
