Dr. Meredith Slessman is a lecturer at the Belmont School of Nursing. She has extensive experience in pediatric emergency medicine and recently graduated with her nurse practitioner and doctorate in 2024. She completed her doctorate project on how to improve smoking cessation in uninsured diabetics. She is passionate about pediatric nursing, mentoring, and guiding the next generation of nurses. With a strong commitment to teaching, Dr. Slessman strives to create a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, professional growth and confidence in clinical practice.
