Biography

Dr. Megan Lannom is an Assistant Professor of Nursing with extensive clinical expertise in labor and delivery, high-risk obstetrics, postpartum, newborn care, and neonatal intensive care. She is committed to advancing nursing education through innovative teaching strategies, simulation, and evidence-based learning experiences that foster clinical judgment and prepare future nurses for professional practice. 

Throughout her career, Dr. Lannom has served in clinical, educational, and leadership roles, developing innovative curricula, simulation programs, and faculty education initiatives that enhance student learning and promote excellence in nursing education. Her scholarship focuses on simulation best practices, faculty development, and creating meaningful learning experiences that prepare graduates to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care.
