With over 20 years of experience as a professional musician in Nashville, Marsha has worked as a session vocalist, background singer, and featured performer across genres. She landed a management deal with John Rich (Big & Rich), a publishing deal with Kobalt Music, and has collaborated with top Nashville songwriters and producers. She was the featured vocalist for Lifetime’s Chasing Nashville theme song and appeared on CMT’s Gone Country 2, where Jermaine Jackson likened her voice to a young Whitney Houston.
Marsha has shared the stage with artists such as Amy Grant, Andrea Bocelli, and Buck Johnson, and has worked with producers like Keith Stegall and Mickey Jack Cones. Since 2021, she has taught Commercial Voice at Belmont and Lipscomb Universities, with a special interest in Country Vocal Styles. She also created The Women of Country Music Showcase, a performance-based initiative celebrating female artists from the 1920s to the early 2000s.
A certified Neuro-Vocal instructor and active in professional development, Marsha is dedicated to student-centered, personalized teaching. She’s honored to return to Belmont to mentor the next generation of commercial vocal artists.
