Mark Slaughter

Biography

Mark Slaughter most recently served as Gift Planner at Gustavus Adolphus College, supporting the Music Department through alumni and donor engagement. A Belmont alum (B.M.), Mark brings decades of experience in worship arts and music ministry, having served churches in Minnesota and his hometown of Owensboro, KY. He has also taught at Kentucky Wesleyan College and Luther Seminary. He holds advanced degrees from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Fuller Seminary, with a focus on transforming worship in the local church. Mark and his wife, Jody, a Nashville native, have two adult children. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, skiing, and the outdoors.
