Biography
Lori is a New York University Harry Kondoleon Graduate Award in Playwriting recipient and a Dramatists Guild Fellow. Theater Credits: Most recently, Lori’s comedy Greener Pastures was recommended by the Suzi Awards for the 2024 Aurora Theatre production. Lori wrote and starred in her musical Barbara’s Blue Kitchen (Concord Theatricals) Off-Broadway at the Lamb’s Theatre. Lori co-wrote and starred in her (and Don Chaffer’s) musical The Sparkley Clean Funeral Singers (Concord Theatricals) at Capital Repertory Theatre and the Cumberland County Playhouse. Her play Petie, produced by Theatre East & Starving Artist Productions, has been called a cross between Rabbit Hole and The Beauty Queen of Leenane. Screenwriting Credits: Independent Vision Award Nominee for Outstanding achievement in Screenwriting for her feature film Chasing Taste, which is available on Amazon Prime.
