Biography

Mrs. Kristen Allen is a Professor of Practice at Belmont University's Inman College of Nursing. Her background in adult cardiology, cardiac surgery, and medical-surgical nursing provides a strong clinical foundation that informs and enriches her approach to teaching and mentoring students. She currently teaches at the undergraduate level and co-coordinates the Foundations of Experiential Learning course. Kristen is pursuing a Doctorate in Nursing Education to strengthen her ability to prepare and empower future nurses. Her teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive, engaging learning environment that prepares students to excel clinically and become empathetic, ethical leaders in healthcare. With faith as her foundation, she values the strength of family and the power of love to inspire, encourage, and care for others.
