Biography
Degree / Training: BSN from the University of Cincinnati, DNP from Belmont University
Years Working with BUHS / Responsibilities: I started with BUHS in January 2023 as a nurse practitioner student, then joined full-time as a nurse practitioner in September 2023! My responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients each day and participating in campus wide events such as the vaccine clinics.
Hometown: Marietta, Ohio
When I'm not Working, I enjoy: My family is incredibly important to me, so you’ll find me spending quality time with my husband, Max, and my lab mix, Rylan! We enjoy exploring all that East Nashville has to offer, including the best coffee shops and restaurants. Music is also a huge part of my life. If I’m not listening to my airpods, you’ll find me at one of Nashville’s many concert venues.
Favorite Place on or near Campus: The rose garden! I walk by it every morning. Seeing the roses still in bloom over winter reminds me of the importance of resiliency, and just how resilient Belmont’s students are!
What I love most about working in BUHS: I love being able to connect with students and equip them with health knowledge! BUHS providers may be the first provider that students see aside from their pediatrician, so preparing students to be able to care for themselves and reassuring them when they’re sick or injured can help ease their transition of navigating healthcare as an adult.
