Karlee Hedrick

Biography

Dr. Karlee Hedrick is an Assistant Professor of Nursing. She brings a clinical background in pediatric emergency medicine, neonatal intensive care, and emergency medical services. Her experience caring for these populations across urban and rural settings has shaped her commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care and nursing education. 

She is dedicated to fostering environments where students are challenged, encouraged, and empowered to become confident, compassionate, and competent nurses. She believes that a trauma-informed culture and meaningful mentorship are foundational to nursing education and is committed to inspiring future nurses to lead with clinical excellence, integrity, and a lifelong passion for learning.
