Biography
Joel Hester is an instructor in Communication Studies and Honors. He received his B.A. degree in Speech Communication and M.A. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Alabama. Before teaching at Belmont, he spent 25 years in sales and sales management with financial and nonprofit organizations. His focus of study is on teams, organizational communication, and leadership. At Belmont, he teaches Fundamentals of Speech and Oral Communication Seminar.
