Biography
Dr. Jill Forbess received a B.S in Chemistry from Oglethorpe University, followed by an M.D. degree, and pediatric residency from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Forbess is a board-certified pediatrician through the American Board of Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Hearing a call from God to serve church, family, and her profession, she and her husband, Jeff, moved to Nashville in 1994 to join Life Fellowship Church and raise their family. This move has led to a long successful career as a pediatrician and the founder of Brentwood Pediatrics since 2006. Passion to serve others was also expressed through leadership roles as the pediatric department chair at St Thomas Midtown for two terms and to teach others to practice medicine through her work as an adjunct professor of pediatrics in the physician assistant program at Lipscomb University since 2019.
