Biography

Jennie Steinfeld is the Study Abroad Advisor for the Office of Study Abroad (OSA). Originally from Ohio, Jennie graduated from Taylor University in Indiana with a B.A. in International Studies and minors in English Literature and Spanish. A childhood spent traveling, as well as a semester abroad in Greystones, Ireland and a month abroad in South Africa, all confirmed her desire to work overseas in international education.

After graduation Jennie spent four years in Klaipeda, Lithuania as a recruiter for Study Abroad Lithuania at LCC International University. There she enjoyed working with students throughout their entire time abroad and leading trips within the Baltics and Russia. After moving to Lithuania's capital, Vilnius, Jennie served as an Incoming Student Coordinator for the historic Vilnius Academy of Arts and as Coordinator for Women's Ministry at the International Church of Vilnius.

Jennie has also worked professionally as a baker in both Lithuanian and American bakeries and loves baking at home. New to the area, she and her husband are looking forward to exploring more of Nashville and the rest of Tennessee.
