Biography
Dr. Jamaine Davis joins the Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine as the Assistant Dean for Scholarly Productivity and Innovation. He has established an externally funded and highly collaborative research lab and created numerous programs to help students and faculty enhance their research experience and secure grants. Dr. Davis formerly served as a course director for previous medical student research experiences, and established numerous partnerships with research-intensive institutions, ensuring research students meet their requirements with high-quality experiences. He received a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute.
