Biography

Femke Weidema is an award-winning producer, songwriter, composer, and musician who works across multiple genres, including pop, country, film scoring, and sync.

After attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, the Dutch native moved to Los Angeles, where she began working at Hans Zimmer’s prestigious Remote Control Studios. She later worked as a freelance composer for companies such as Bleeding Fingers and Paramount. 

Femke’s credits include work for Paramount, Disney, HBO, NBC, and ABC. Her film and television work includes scoring Paramount’s A Nashville Country Christmas with Tanya Tucker and Disney’s Binny und der Geist. Her work in advertising contributed to campaigns recognized with seven Cannes Lions in 2025.

As a songwriter and producer, Femke has worked with artists including Babyface, Mary J. Blige, Forest Blakk, Lexie Liu, Cyndi Wang, and High Valley. Her work has earned an ASCAP Harold Adamson Lyric Award, a Latin Grammy credit, and a British Country Music Awards for song of the year. 

Femke is the founder of independent label LV Music, where she focuses on artist development and helping international artists build careers in the U.S. market. Through LV Music, she works alongside partners across publishing, labels, booking, sync, and artist development.

She currently serves on the Board of the Recording Academy Nashville Chapter and H.O.M.E. Nashville.
