Emily Ferrell
Biography
Emily Ferrell is the Office Assistant for the Office of Study Abroad.
Emily earned a B.A. in English Literature and Hispanic Studies from the University of Tennessee where she spent a semester abroad in Bilbao, Spain. After graduating, she spent two years in Seville, Spain where she taught English in secondary schools.
In 2020, Emily moved to Nashville to earn an M.A.T. at Belmont. While completing her degree, she worked as a teaching assistant before becoming a bilingual ESL teacher in Metro Nashville Public Schools. Her experiences living abroad and working with multilingual students led her to the field of international education.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys language learning and is currently studying Italian.
