DeVanee Lasley-Brown

Biography

Hi there! I’m DeVanee. I work with students from Davidson County School here in Nashville and I oversee the Bell Tower process. I’m originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky, but I’ve lived in six states! I studied recreation administration at Western Kentucky University and worked in their campus rec department before moving to Lincoln, Nebraska, where I obtained my master's degree in higher education administration. After graduating from The University of Nebraska Lincoln, I attended Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee, where I received my Doctor of Education Degree in Leadership and Professional Practice in 2023. While there I traveled and lived in a few different states, working with both U.S. and international students. Aside from traveling, I enjoy the outdoors, watching movies, cooking, and spending time with my family. My passion for helping students from underrepresented backgrounds has been seen in my previous work. 

It brings me immense joy to help students find their path at Belmont and grow while they are here.
