Dr. Womack is an Associate Professor. Her nursing experience includes Medical Missions, Medical-Surgical, Labor & Delivery, Hospice, and full-scope Nurse-Midwifery in teaching and community hospitals. She taught nursing and midwifery at Emory University for 20 years before joining Belmont’s faculty in 2026. Her doctoral project improved the midwifery intrapartum simulation lab’s effectiveness through the application of evidence-based teaching strategies and enhanced student confidence levels. In addition, Dr. Womack is a Healing Touch and Reflexology provider and volunteer death doula.
