Biography
Courtney Coyle is the Assistant Director of Belmont USA, a professional development program for undergraduate students to live, take classes, and intern in another city within the United States for a summer or semester.
Courtney spent 2 years completing field research on the Sundanese tribe in West Java, Indonesia for his master thesis followed by 4 years working in São Paulo, Brazil with international education programs. Prior to coming to Belmont, Courtney worked with international programs in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for 5 years. He believes in the transformative impact of study & intern away experiences and that there is an opportunity for every student at Belmont.
After graduating from Belmont in 2010, Courtney went on to obtain a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master of Arts from Judson College. Outside of work, Courtney loves spending time with his wife and daughter, plane spotting, drinking good coffee, and exploring new places!
