Biography

Connor DeLap, a proud West Coast native, graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington, with his bachelor’s degree in Health Science. Following graduation, he worked as an admissions counselor in Whitworth’s undergraduate admissions office, where he served for three years before transitioning into a role within Institutional Advancement. His work with prospective students, alumni, and donors further instilled in him a passion for building meaningful relationships and connections. Alongside his professional work, Connor also completed a Master’s degree in Administrative and Nonprofit Leadership at Whitworth.

Connor is excited to bring his background in Health Science and Nonprofit Leadership to the Office of Faculty Success. To him, this role represents the ideal fusion of his education and professional journey, offering the opportunity to combine his passion for people, community building, and organizational leadership into one space.

Beyond his professional life, Connor, his wife, and their 8-month-old Goldendoodle puppy, Ripley, recently moved across the country to their new home in Nashville. His wife, Lauren, graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine and is now working as a first-year resident at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In his free time, you can find him biking the local greenways, watching his favorite sports teams (right now, it’s the Mariners), or exploring the Nashville food scene – if you have any recommendations, please let him know. Connor is grateful for the chance to call Nashville home and is looking forward to building new relationships within the Belmont community.
