Chip Hayner

Chip Hayner serves as Director of Alumni & Family Engagement and the Executive Director for the Belmont University Alumni Association. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Belmont in Digital Media Studies before spending 18 years in the private sector, performing various roles in tech and product management. During this time, however, Chip found plenty of excuses to come back to campus—serving on the Young Alumni Council ('06-'08), two terms on the Alumni Board ('11-'14, '16-'22), and 18+ years of having seasons tickets to cheer on the Bruins!

In this role, Chip is excited to find new ways to help our great alumni base feel more connected to the Belmont community—and maybe reconnect to the campus they haven’t seen in a while!
