Biography

Brittany Reese is an SP Educator at Belmont University, where she supports the delivery of experiential learning through standardized patient methodology, collaborating with faculty, standardized patients, healthcare programs, and external partners to create effective simulation-based education. With a background spanning healthcare education, clinical practice, theatre, and creative leadership, Brittany brings a unique blend of communication, empathy, performance, and clinical expertise to experiential learning environments. She has extensive experience portraying patients in high-stakes medical examinations, training students in physical examination skills, and facilitating meaningful feedback on interpersonal communication. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, she also brings direct experience working with complex patient populations in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation. Brittany specializes in creating authentic simulation experiences, training and supporting standardized patients, and helping healthcare students develop clinical skills alongside effective, patient-centered communication.
