Bethani Thornton

Biography

In 2021, Bethani moved from South Carolina to Nashville, but her hometown is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  A graduate of Presbyterian College, she received a degree in Political Science but will tell you that God had a different plan for her! After graduating, she began working in the field of Early Childhood Education.
Finding a real joy in the preschool classroom, Bethani went on to earn a Pennsylvania Private and Academic Certificate in Nursery/Kindergarten and a South Carolina Early Childhood Education Credential.
With 26 years of experience in both the classroom and administration, Bethani has had the privilege of seeing how God creates us all as individuals with unique skills and understanding from the very beginning. She makes sure every child feels seen and heard as they navigate their world.  It is Bethani's desire and commitment to respect each child and equip them with confidence in knowing they are blessings from God. “And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.”  (Mark 10:16) 
Bethani is so excited to welcome each new children and family to Little Bruins Preschool!  When not in the preschool classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family (including her Great Dane), reading and traveling!
