What Can I Do With a Degree in Global Leadership Studies?

A strong academic and experiential foundation in global awareness, cultural identity and leadership prepares you for a vast amount of career options.The area emphasis of the major and the minor you choose, combined with your unique study abroad and internship experiences, equip you with a customized set of skills that are valuable to a wide variety of organizations with a global footprint. 

As a graduate of the program, you'll be prepared for a career in government, the non-profit sector, international corporations, humanitarian organizations working with worldwide issues, human rights activism, international relations, language translation, global media and communications, social justice, marketing management, development, missions, economics, global supply chain management, research organizations, education, global social work, law, as well as the transportation, travel, and hospitality industry and more.

  • Centro Español de Logística, a supply chain management company in Madrid, Spain
  • Metro Nashville Mayor’s Office - Office of Neighborhood and Community Engagement
  • Nations Ministry Center for Refugees - Nashville, TN
  • A House on Beekman, an after-school non-profit in South Bronx, New York 
  • Thistle Farms, a non-profit social enterprise in Nashville, TN
  • Novel Hand.com, an online community and blog that focuses on global humanitarian issues
