Group Fitness

While all group fitness classes have been shifted to occur virtually this semester, they remain a great way for participants to build new relationships in a positive and encouraging environment while getting a great workout! All classes can be completed with little to no equipment and can be completed from the comfort and safety of on- or off-campus residences. See below for the current schedule of virtual classes and keep reading to learn how you can reserve your spot today!

Virtual Group Fitness Class Schedule - Fall 2020

All group fitness classes will allow advanced registration for participants that will open 72 hours prior to each class. This can be done in person at the Beaman Information Desk, or online at http://fitrecconnect.belmont.edu.

To register for group fitness classes, use the directions below.

1. Follow the link to connect you to the online portal, FitRec Connect 
2. Select “Sign In”.  Select “MyBelmont Login” to the right if you are a student, faculty or staff member.  For all other users and follow prompts. & Choose “Use My Local Account” if you do not have a BUID. 
3. If selected “Use My Local Account” this will prompt you to use “Already Have An Account? Your username will be “first.last” For example, susie.jean and your password will be 1900Belmont & after you login, it will prompt you to create a password of your own!
4. Once you are logged in, click the group fitness icon in the middle of the page.
5. Click on the class title you are registering for and all open classes will be listed.  Remember that registration opens 72 hours before the scheduled day and time of the class.
6. Proceed to check out & your name will automatically be registered for the program! If you did it correctly you should receive a confirmation email.

To cancel a group fitness class registration:

1. Follow the directions above to log-in to your account.
2. Click your name in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
3. Click “profile”, then click “programs” and “registrations” on the left.
4. You’ll have the option to click “cancel” next to the class you’ve booked.
