Harrington Place Dining Hall Renovation
Harrington Dining Renovation at a glance
A key addition is the Bruin Test Kitchen, a hands-on culinary space where students can learn food preparation skills and create meals alongside campus chefs. The renovation also expands the Simple Zone, a dedicated allergen-conscious preparation area designed to support students with specific dietary needs.

During the summer closure, dining services will shift to alternative locations to support students, faculty, staff and campus guests.
In June, a fully equipped dining tent on the main lawn will provide service comparable to Harrington, including seating for up to 600 guests, multiple service lines, beverage stations and climate-controlled coverage. In July, dining operations will transition to Betty’s Market.
Meal service (Monday–Friday)- Breakfast: 7–9 a.m.*
- Lunch: 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
- Dinner: 4:30–6:30 p.m.
*Breakfast and weekend service available based on conference attendance.
Summer meal plans will not be offered. Students may use Bruin Bucks, which are accepted at on-campus dining locations, vending, Belmont Pharmacy and select off-campus partners. Walk-up payments will also be accepted at temporary dining locations.

The CORD at the Historic Powerhouse
A gathering and innovation hub in the center of campus.
The CORD-Powerhouse turns a historic building in the center of Belmont’s campus into a 17,029-square-foot hub where students across media, music and the arts can meet, create and perform. The project renovates the old powerhouse and adds a new three-story building beside it.

Curb College on Music Row
A home for Belmont’s music programs on Music Row.
Curb College on Music Row brings Belmont University Nashville’s College of Entertainment & Music Business closer to the industry it serves. The new facility at 15 Music Circle South sits on top of a four-story parking garage. It includes a performance venue, teaching studios, podcast and video production space and the Center for Mental Health in Entertainment.

What this means for campus:
Thank you for your patience while this work is underway. You may hear occasional noise. Some sidewalks near the CORD site may be rerouted, and traffic on Music Row and nearby streets may shift. When there is a specific disruption, we will post it in the Current Advisories section above.
