Biography

Jaylen Palmer is a Program Manager in the Office of Advanced Practice at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she has served since October 2024 following her healthcare administration internship with VUMC through the Tennessee Hospital Association’s Agenda 21 Program. She holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Samford University, where she was inducted into Upsilon Phi Delta, the national healthcare management honor society, and served as Liaison for the American College of Healthcare Executives of Alabama Board of Directors. She now gives back to her alma mater as a member of the Samford University Alumni Board.

In addition to her healthcare career, Jaylen is the proud owner of Lavender Lace Weddings, a Nashville-based wedding planning company. As an organized and detail-oriented month-of coordinator, she is passionate about bringing couples’ dream weddings to life across Nashville and beyond.

Jaylen is also deeply engaged in her undergraduate alma mater, Belmont University, where she earned her degree in Public Health and Business Administration. She has served on the Belmont University Alumni Board for three years and was recently appointed Chair of the Young Alumni Council. As a student, she was actively involved on campus as a Towering Traditions Leader, Orientation Council Director, Bruin Recruiter and member of Kappa Alpha Theta, where she held several leadership roles. She was also honored as Belmont’s 2022 Homecoming Queen and served as Student Section Chair for the Tennessee Public Health Association. Beyond campus, she interned with LifePoint Health as a Population Health Intern and volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club, furthering her passion for service and community health.
